Partners in Education
The Partners in Education program is jointly administered by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Fayette County Board of Education.
The purpose of the Partners in Education program is to provide an avenue for businesses to form partnerships with public schools and educational programs in Fayette County. The ultimate goal is to provide enhanced educational opportunities for our students.
Partnerships can take many forms, and range from monetary contributions and donations-in-kind, to sponsorships and mentoring or tutoring students. A partnership certificate will be sent to the organization acknowledging them as Partners in Education. At the end of the school year, partnership commitments should be jointly reviewed by the partners, and reaffirmed or reassigned for the following year.
In May of each year, the Partners in Education committee reviews nominations and selects an Outstanding Partners in Education. Awards are given at our Annual Partners in Education Recognition Breakfast.
