Fayette County Entrepreneur Extravaganza -- Tuesday, September 25, 2007

The Business Expo is a trade show event, held each September. This year's event Expo will be held on Tuesday, September 25 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.. Chamber members exhibit in the Expo to showcase their products and services to other members and to the general community. Visitors to the Business Expo have the opportunity to stroll the aisles of the show, viewing samples and watching demonstrations from a diverse cross-section of the business community. The Business Expo typically draws visitors from throughout the Metro South area who come to "find what's in Fayette" and enjoy samples provided by local Fayette County Chamber member restaurants and caterers.

New in 2006, the Business Expo has been expanded to a two-day event which now includes a Job Fair. This year's Job Fair will be held the day before the Expo on Monday, September 24th from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Job Fair is produced in concert with the Georgia Department of Labor and will give local companies and job seekers an excellent opportunity to meet. Career services available are Resume Writing, Interviewing Techniques, Transferable Skills Assessment and many more. The Job Fair and Business Expo is the largest Chamber event open to the public.

New this year is the Fayette County Entrepreneur Extravaganza presented by the Fayette County Development Authority and coordinated by the Georgia Department of Labor. This event will also be held on Tuesday, September 25 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Entrepreneur Extravaganza is being held in an effort to support entrepreneur and small business development in Fayette County.
