Ribbon Cuttings
The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce will provide a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for any new member at the "Connect & Grow" level or higher membership. Generally, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrates a business less than 12 months old, an additional location or an expansion to a new location. A Chamber member with a new Home-based business can make special arrangements to have their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Chamber.
Scheduling Options: 5:30 - 6:30 PM on Tuesdays or 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Thursdays.
The Chamber will:
- Invite the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Ambassadors
- Provide ribbon and large ceremonial scissors
- Provide a Chamber staff member as the primary photographer
- Provide pre-Ribbon Cutting announcements through the Chamber Community Calendar, and Chamber weekly e-mail Happenings
- Provide post-event photos on the Chamber website photo gallery, to local media and to the primary contact of the organization.
The Business should:
- Schedule date and time for the ceremony by contacting the Chamber at(770) 461-9983.
- Schedule two months in advance.
- Be an active Member of the Chamber.
- Invite people significant to your business, such as corporate executives, clients, customers, community representatives, family, friends, etc.
- The day of the event, be ready to meet and greet and have pictures taken.
- Provide the Chamber Representative with the following information:
- Exact name of Business
- Names of the Principal owners, officers, who plan to speak on behalf of your organization.
- Contact person, along with business address, phone number(s), & directions
Inform the Chamber ahead of time of any special itinerary information scheduled for your event.
