The Fayette Chamber will host its annual Workforce and Education Forum featuring local and state education and industry leaders on Monday, October 23 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Fayette Chamber Meeting Place.
The event is a unique and collaborative program that highlights the successes of Fayette County Public Schools and the opportunities for Fayette students to identify, prepare and pursue high-demand careers after high school and college. In addition to remarks by Dr. Joseph Barrow, superintendent of Fayette County Schools, the agenda will feature Georgia Chamber CEO Chris Clark who will share the importance of preparing our students to be the future workforce for the state of Georgia.
A panel of Fayette County high school students and employers will also be on hand to share their internship experiences and types of careers that are available right here in Fayette County.
Chamber members, parents & students are encouraged to attend.
